Hi! I'm Jordan

I’m a Milwaukee-based photographer, extreme hobbyist, and someone who genuinely loves paying attention to the little details.

My interest in photography started way back in middle school. I remember seeing people post their work online, experimenting with galaxy-inspired edits, and eventually getting really into Tumblr as it became a big part of my age group. I wanted to recreate the photos I was seeing, come up with my own ideas, and figure out how to make the things in my head exist in a photograph.

Once I got my own camera, I wanted to bring it everywhere. School trips, festivals, random outings. If I was allowed to bring it, it was coming with me. I was also always enrolled in some kind of art class, whether that was digital media, mixed media, black-and-white film, or something completely different. Photography has always been something I've come back to, even when it was just a hobby.

As I've gotten older, I've realized that being an extreme hobbyist has its perks. I don't just love photography, love a lot of things, and I've found that I can bring those interests together behind the camera. I love going to concerts and, for a while, seriously considered breaking into concert photography. I've made and sold earrings and handled all of my own product photography. I'm always working on some kind of creative project, and photography has a way of finding its place in all of them.

Over the years, I've realized what I love most is capturing things as they happen and, more specifically, the little moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. The slight adjustment of a groom's tux. A couple genuinely showing how they feel about each other. The laugh that happens between the “real” photos. Those are the things I want to notice and preserve.

And don't worry, I don't expect you to show up knowing exactly what to do in front of a camera. That's where I come in.

If you have a whole plan for your photos, great! If you have absolutely no idea what you want, we can figure it out together. If you'd rather take the lead, I'm happy to follow along, and if you'd rather hand things over to me, I can take over. Whatever level of involvement you want in the process is completely fine with me. This is a collaboration, and there isn't one right way to do it.

More than anything, I want the experience to be fun. I want you to leave with photos you love, but also with memories of actually enjoying the process of making them.
